Why is a document forwarded for approval to Admin Role instead of the principal?

In the default setup of business rules, a document will arrive in Admin Role's inbox when authorization limits are exceeded but a given user does not have a supervisor specified.

To prevent this from happening, ensure all users have a supervisor specified. For information on how to set a user's supervisor, see Supervisor.
