We do not recommend deleting objects in MediusFlow. In MediusFlow data objects such as users are linked to other objects during the course of application usage, making them impossible to remove. When you try to delete an object, you might receive the error below.

It is also not a good practice to remove objects due to audit and future reference requirements.
The best practice for removing data objects is to deactivate them. You can also change the name of a deactivated data object to make it anonymous.
For a user that has left the company, the best practice is to remove them from any authorization groups, and ensure they are not set as anyone's supervisor. You can then deactivate and anonymize the user.
If you receive a message stating that the user cannot be deactivated, it is due to the user object being linked to other data. If this happens, review if the user is:
a supervisor to another user
a delegatee for another user
a member of any authorization group or followup group
responsible for any company, supplier, dimension, purchase order
